  the reactivity of C and N centered radicals\, in combination with transit
 ion metals\, to streamline the functionalization of π-systems.\n\nNitrogen
  center radicals present divergent features: while highly reactive and thu
 s difficult to control\, they can also offer an excellent platform towards
  the formation not only of C-N but also remote C-C bonds. Here\, we will p
 resent our efforts to generate and harvest these valuable intermediates in
  synthetically relevant contexts\, including recent results towards their 
 application in asymmetric transformations..[1] \n\nFurther\, examples of N
 ickel catalyzed dicarbofunctionalizations of alkenes and alkynes in a chem
 o-\, regio- and stereoselective manner utilizing radicals as well as studi
 es on the mechanistic features underlying these transformations will be pr
