This presentation will highlight our teams work developing N-annu lated perylene diimide derivatives to deliver green solvent\, roll-to-roll compatible processed electronic devices.6-8\n\n \n\nBio:\n\nDr. Gregory W elch obtained his BSc in Chemistry from the University of Calgary in 2003 and worked in the laboratories of Dr. Chivers and Dr. Piers. He earned his PhD at the University of Windsor in 2008 under the supervision of Dr. Ste phan where he helped develop Frustrated Lewis Pair chemistry. He then move d to UC-Santa Barbara\, where he studied organic solar cells as a NSERC po stdoctoral fellow with Dr. Bazan.\n\n \n\nHe began a faculty position in 2 012 as a Canadian Research Chair at Dalhousie University in Halifax\, NS. In 2015 he relocated to the University of Calgary as a Canadian Research C hair. His research interests are focused on the design\, synthesis and cha racterization of organic/organometallic materials and use in printed elect ronics\, coatings and catalysis. He was promoted to full professor in 2021 . He enjoys raising his kids\, heavy metal music\, tanks\, home renovation s\, and landscaping.\n DTSTART:20230221T180000Z DTEND:20230221T193000Z LOCATION:Room 10\, Maass Chemistry Building\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B8\ , 801 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Chemical Society Seminar: -Gregory Welch- Perylene diimide based ma terials for printed electronics URL:/chemistry/channels/event/chemical-society-seminar -gregory-welch-perylene-diimide-based-materials-printed-electronics-344362 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
