Here we will report on recent developments pertai ning to surface modifiers and dopants that could impact the charge injecti on/collection processes in organic light emitting diodes\, organic field e ffect transistors\, and organic photovoltaic devices. In particular\, we w ill examine how phosphonic acids assemble on ITO substrates\, the impact o f the surface dipole on the work function of the ITO and electron transfer kinetics across surface modifiers. We will also discuss the development o f metallocenes-based dimers as n-dopants and very briefly described metal dithiolene complexes as p-dopants for organic semiconductors and their imp act of device performance.\n DTSTART:20160105T180000Z DTEND:20160105T193000Z LOCATION:Rm 10\, Maass Chemistry Building\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B8\, 801 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:CSACS Seminar - Dr. Seth R.
