Congratulations to Dr. Louise Pilote who was awarded the 2025 Margolese National Heart Disorders Prize for her transformative work on evaluating the impact of gender on health outcomes, and in particular cardiovascular disease — advancing equity-focused cardiac care globally. The Margolese National Heart Disorders Prize is awarded annually to a Canadian physician or scientist who makes outstanding contributions to the treatment, amelioration, or cure of heart disorders.
