Abstract

Amaris Consulting is an international consulting firm operating across multiple markets and sectors worldwide. Within our organization, the Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) department specializes in delivering strategic consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and other stakeholders in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) space. Our work combines in-depth disease knowledge with robust analytical and strategic capabilities to support clients across the full spectrum of health economics, outcomes research, value communication, and market access. The HEMA team integrates expertise from several core practices:

  • Clinical and pharmaceutical insights, including systematic literature reviews, interpretation of clinical data, and contextual understanding of therapeutic areas and disease landscapes;
  • Biostatistics, supporting advanced analyses such as indirect treatment comparisons (including network meta-analyses), exploratory studies using clinical trial data, machine learning applications, predictive modeling, and the use of real-world evidence beyond traditional trial settings;
  • Health economics, focusing on economic modeling and cost-effectiveness analyses to demonstrate the value of therapies in healthcare systems.

Together, these capabilities enable us to provide evidence-driven solutions that inform pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for innovative medical products.

Speaker Bio

Valentine has worked in the consulting space for 6 years and in HEOR space specifically for 3 years. In her previous experience as a biostatistician consultant for cosmetic industry and here at Amaris, Valentine has worked as experienced consultant and project manager on a variety of projects and developed experience in:

  2. Individual Patient Data (IPD) analyses: using data collected from randomized controlled clinical trials, generate evidence on the efficacy of various pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products using different statistical methods such as frequentists and bayesian statistics and meta-analyses.
  3. Indirect treatment comparisons (ITC): generate indirect evidence on the efficacy of various pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products using IPD and aggregated data, with the use of different statistical methods (network meta-analyses, matching-adjusted meta-analyses, simulated treatment comparison).
  4. Scientific writing: contribute to the redaction of several abstracts and creation of posters for conferences.
