From 2013 to 2024, Prof. Haggerty served as the founding scientific director of the Qu茅bec Primary Health Care Knowledge Network, R茅seau-1 Qu茅bec. In 2016, she became the scientific director of the 91直播 Primary Care Practice-based Research Network (PBRN), a contribution she is most proud of in the Department, and where she worked to bridge research and clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Prof. Haggerty鈥檚 scholarship has been deeply rooted in patient perspectives, health equity and the challenges of designing systems that meet the needs of vulnerable populations. Her pioneering work has transformed how patient experiences are integrated into healthcare delivery and has played a key role in shaping patient-centered policies that ensure services are both compassionate and effective. By creating critical frameworks and indicators, she has empowered the public in their healthcare decision-making, especially in improving equitable access and high-quality care.

In 2018, in recognition of her research excellence, Prof. Haggerty was named Family Medicine Researcher of the Year by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). More recently in 2024, she received the M茅daille de la d茅put茅e from the National Assembly of Qu茅bec, highlighting her outstanding service to the community served by the St Mary鈥檚 Research Centre and her important role in advancing patient-centered primary healthcare services across Quebec.
