DESCRIPTION:The 2014-2015 Disaster and Humanitarian Response Training Progr
 am is specially designed for people with little or no prior field experien
 ce who wish to undertake a career in the humanitarian sector. The Training
  Program offers an evidence-based training on the globally-recognized core
  humanitarian competencies that are essential for anyone involved in disas
 ter response and/or humanitarian assistance.  Dates: Classroom training wi
 ll start on Wednesday October 15th and will continue until April 1st 2015.
  The 3-day field-based disaster simulation exercise is in May 2015.   Time
 : Weekly classes will take place on Wednesdays from 18h00 to 20h30.  Fees:
  Course fees are $2 200.00 (CND) for the full program (includes in-classro
 om training and 3-Day field-based simulation exercise). Students from McGi
 ll University receive a 15% discount on total fees.  Location: The course 
 will take place in Montreal at the 91Ö±²¥ Department of Family Medicine.
