Her current transdisciplinary researc h\, funded by Grand Challenges Canada\, a GCC Transition-to-Scale award\, and a Gates Grand Challenges Explorations\, addresses maternal and child o utcomes of a community-based\, participatory group psychosocial interventi on with Maya women\, men\, youth and elders in the Western Highlands of Gu atemala. She leads the 91ֱ’s researcher-patient dyad funded by RUIS in Quebec and she convenes the 91ֱ Patient Engagement Network involving ov er a dozen clinical and research teams across the University. She will out line current controversies in patient engagement and address some major ch allenges of this field\, grounded with case examples.
