Her current transdisciplinary research \, funded by Grand Challenges Canada\, a GCC Transition-to-Scale award\, a nd a Gates Grand Challenges Explorations grant\, addresses maternal and ch ild outcomes of a community-based\, participatory group psychosocial inter vention with Maya women\, men\, youth and elders in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. She leads the 91ֱ’s researcher-patient dyad funded by RUI S in Quebec  and she convenes the 91ֱ Patient Engagement Network involv ing over a dozen clinical and research teams across the University. She wi ll outline current controversies inpatient engagement and address some maj or challenges of this field\, grounded with case examples.
