 ent and Difficult Conversations\n\n\n	The 2019/20 MSc and PhD cohorts shoul
 d take this as it is one of the training sessions promised to you as part 
 of Orientation.\n	Please note that students in older cohorts\, who missed p
 revious sessions covering this topic\, are welcome to join!\n	This is also 
 open to DFM staff who have not yet taken it.\n\n\nThis workshop has been d
 esigned to guide participants on how best to manage conflict and the diffe
 rent styles that can be used. It will also provide a framework for having 
 difficult conversations\, as well as highlight some of the negative conseq
 uences of unresolved conflict on our physical and mental health.\n\nMiriam
  Carver\n\nMiriam Carver is on faculty at 91Ö±²¥â€™s Executive Institute and
  is also an instructor at University of Montreal’s Hautes Etudes Commercia
 les (HEC). She is President of Carver Institute Inc.\, an organizational d
 evelopment firm providing learning and consulting to clients throughout No
 rth America and overseas in manufacturing\, transportation\, telecommunica
 tions\, distribution\, retail\, government\, education and healthcare.\n\n
 Areas of expertise include leadership development\, conflict resolution an
 d negotiation skills\, change management\, building teams\, customer servi
 ce\, executive coaching and emotional intelligence.\n\nTamara Carver\n\nTa
 mara Carver is an Assistant Professor at 91Ö±²¥ in the Faculty 
 of Medicine. She is the Education Lead of Family Medicine Innovations in L
 earning (FMIL) which supports leading-edge education innovation.\n\nThe Ca
 rver Team\n\nBoth are committed and passionate educators who are always on
  the lookout for new and innovative ways to connect with learners. You wil
