  the Vice Dean (Acting)\, Education Scholarship and Strategy\, the Directo
 r of Schulich’s Centre for Education Research and Innovation\, and a Facul
 ty Scholar at Western University. A neurologist by clinical training\, he 
 holds a Masters in Medical Education from the University of Dundee and a P
 hD in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University. As a resear
 cher\, Chris studies why doctors are difficult to coach\, why feedback fre
 quently misses the mark\, and why professional culture so often undermines
  the best laid curriculum plans. He is an avid teacher of academic writing
 \, and is the co-author\, with Lorelei Lingard\, of a recent book on the s
 ubject - Story\, Not Study: 30 Brief Lessons to Inspire Health Researchers
