DESCRIPTION:\nGoal of the Fellowship\n\nThis Fellowship has been created to
  “further and promote excellence in medical education by either an advance
 d postgraduate trainee or a faculty member in the Faculty of Medicine and 
 Health Sciences at 91ֱ��.” More specifically\, this Fellowship
  can be used as a salary award in support of professional development acti
 vities related to medical education and/or to provide financial support of
  research activities. Examples of such activities include: curriculum desi
 gn\, innovations in inter-professional education\, research in medical edu
 cation\, or advanced training in medical education.\n\nPlease note that th
 is is not a teaching award or travel bursary. The Fellowship is designed t
 o reward and promote excellence in medical education.\n\nThe value of this
  award is $5\,000 and can be awarded to a maximum of two (2) recipients pe
 r academic year.\n\nDeadline for Applications\n\nThe deadline for applicat
 ions is January 22\, 2024\, for funds to be awarded in March/April 2024.\n
 \nApplication Process\n\nTo apply\, please submit:\n\n(1) A copy of your C
 V\n\n(2) A one-page description of your achievements and future plans in m
 edical education\n\n(3) A one-page description of your proposed project an
 d anticipated outcomes\n\n(4) An outline of your proposed budget\, includi
 ng a budget justification\n\n(5) A letter of reference from the director o
 f your school or department or the unit head/divisional chair supporting y
 our proposed project.\n\n \n\nThe application should be single-spaced with
  a standard 2cm margin and in a standard 12-point font. \n\nThe selection 
 criteria for this award include:\n\n\n	An innovative stand-alone project th
 at will help to move the field forward\n	A clear and appropriate plan for u
 sing the funds\n	Previous achievements in health sciences education or heal
 th professions education and/or evidence of a demonstrated commitment to H
 SE or HPE\n\n\nAt the end of the year\, you will be expected to provide a 
 one-page summary of your accomplishments during your Fellowship year. You 
 will also be expected to acknowledge the Fellowship in any report and/or p
 ublication. You will also be invited to present your proposal at a regular
  meeting of the IHSE.\n\nTo submit your application and for further inform
