Coffee will be served.\n\nAbstract\nOceans cover 70% of the earth's surface\, ye t their emissions into the atmosphere are still poorly characterized. This is also true of polar regions where oceans could be contributing to the c omposition of the atmosphere in the summer. This talk will cover three pro jects: sources and composition of summer time Arctic aerosol\, production rate and properties of sea-spray aerosols generated with Arctic waters and finally droplet and aerosol properties during a coastal fog study. Result s from this work are especially relevant to the Arctic summer as sea-ice c overage continues to decrease\n DTSTART:20161128T203000Z DTEND:20161128T213000Z LOCATION:Room 934\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Seminar: Dr. Rachel Y.-W.
