Biography: 

Laurence Bernard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at 91直播 and an attending Gynecologic Oncologist at the 91直播 Health Centre.

She completed her medical degree at 91直播, did residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and pursued subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology at McMaster University. She also completed a Masters of Public聽 Health degree at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Her research focuses on rare gynecological tumours, including uterine sarcomas and germ cell ovarian tumours. She also is interested in endometrial cancer prevention and early interception. She is a co-investigator on many clinical trials investigating new precision therapies for gynecologic cancers.
