Dr Liane Feldman was welcomed as the Gordon Murray Lecturer at the Department of Surgery鈥檚 Gallie Day at the University of Toronto, May 2, 2025.
This annual event, includes a research day, banquet and awards ceremony, and recognizes the research and educational achievements of the Department. The theme of this year鈥檚 event was 鈥�The impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the art and science of surgery鈥�. Dr Feldman鈥檚 lecture was titled "Getting to mastery: The promise (and pitfalls) of Video based analytics in surgery" and can be seen here:聽
