  and endoluminal approaches to the treatment of colorectal disease using f
 lexible endoscopy\, transanal endoscopic surgery\, and Transanal Total Mes
 orectal Excision (TA-TME).\n\nHis research interests include health techno
 logy assessment and comparative effectiveness research for surgical techno
 logies and innovations\, with emphasis on the practice of colorectal surge
 ry. Other areas of research include perioperative assessment\, and functio
