Canadian Non-Resident Sign-up

  1. Canadian Non-Resident students or new Permanent Residents who:

    1. Are not eligible for the and,
    2. Have no insurance coverage or,
    3. Whose private insurance is not adequate.

    have the聽辞辫迟颈辞苍听of enrolling in 91直播's International Health Insurance (IHI) Plan.

How to enrol:

  1. Log on to using your student email ID.
    Warning: Do not use an to login.
  2. Select the聽Canadian Non-Resident Sign-up option.
  3. Fill all the relevant details in the form such as coverage period,聽dependants, etc., and create a ticket.聽
  1. Students who wish to opt-in to the IHI plan must fill out a new web-form at the beginning of each new academic year and/or term, depending on their situation.

  2. If you want to have IHI coverage for the whole year, choose all the 3 terms while filling out the enrolment form.

  3. Please note different rates apply to single and dependant coverage plans.

Disclaimers:

  1. If a Canadian non-resident student chooses to opt-in to the IHI plan, the charges for the supplemental health and dental portions of their respective student society鈥檚 insurance plans (SSMU, MCSS or PGSS) will not be automatically removed from the student's account.
  2. Students who are currently in the three-month waiting period following RAMQ registration may wish to remain enrolled in the supplemental health plan as there are extended benefits that may be of interest.
  3. Students, who opt-out of the supplemental health plan, cannot rejoin this plan until the next academic year.
  4. Students should evaluate their own situation prior to making a decision to opt out.

Please be aware that the IHI plan only covers accidental dental expenses.
